Positioning the camera... Part of the series of works which are concerned with the nature of image making and the merging of exercise, game, ritual and artistic process. "I remember wondering whether as an artist I ever do anything but imitate an imaginary memory, and asking myself what could happen when somebody in the future came across only the remnants of the photographic prints or a title of these works: would they try to rediscover the skills of the fictional lost tradition to which these remnants refer?" |
