GPS - Erlangen (afternoon) (2001)
Ink-jet print, 11 x 12,5 cm

The first GPS recording was executed in Erlangen, Germany, the artists' hometown,
by carrying a Global Positioning System (GPS) on an afternoon's bike ride around the town.
Through utilising the complex, remote technology of the 24 orbiting GPS satellites
12 000 mile high in space, a simple line drawing was created.
